Greetings to all George Gordon first Nation members, and to the general public who have taken the time to view our web site and learn about our Nation. Welcome to the new George Gordon First Nation web site.

As Chief, it is my intention to bring a new level of accountability and transparency to the governance of our Nation. Accordingly, we are launching this newly re-designed web site to ensure that all our members, on and off reserve, have access to information regarding our Nation's governance, programming, decisions and successes. Within these web pages you will find information about George Gordon's population, demographics, finances and programs. Also included are regular updates on decisions made by Chief and Council, coming events and our quarterly newsletter that documents our activities, challenges and successes.

Good communications are the key to good governance. It is my sincere hope that our GGFN members will find the information they seek here on our web site, and that interested members of the public will use this site as a tool to learn about our Nation, our traditions, our challenges, and our people.

We welcome any and all suggestions for additions to our web site, and your ideas can be shared by calling Mr. Derek Morris, our Director of Operations, or myself at the Band Office.
